Sennheiser released the ACCENTUM Clip β these are their first open-clip earbuds, and they even have Bluetooth 6.0!
The most interesting things about the ACCENTUM Clip
- Design: Open-clip earbuds with a flexible silicone bridge. Each earbud weighs 6.8 grams.
- Drivers: Dynamic, 12 mm.
- Sound: Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified, supports SBC, AAC, LDAC codecs. LDAC support is probably the key advantage of this new model!
- Bluetooth: Version 6.0. Features multipoint and Google Fast Pair.
- Battery: Up to 9 hours for the earbuds alone, up to 36 hours with the charging case. Fast charging: 10 minutes gives 2 hours of playback. For clip-on earbuds, this is above average for the market.
- Protection: IP54 (dust and sweat resistant). They’ll be great for sports.
- Microphones: Dual system on each earbud with AI noise reduction.
- App: Sennheiser Smart Control Plus (5-band EQ, Sound Check, general presets).
- Controls: Textured touch buttons.
- Colors: Black, cream.
ACCENTUM Clip vs ACCENTUM True Wireless
It’s interesting to look at these clip-on earbuds within the ACCENTUM line. Of course, the ACCENTUM Clip are open-clip earbuds, not just an update to the in-ear ACCENTUM True Wireless from before. But the difference is still interesting:
- Form factor: Open clips versus classic in-ear earbuds.
- Noise cancellation: No active noise cancellation (but you can hear your surroundings) versus hybrid ANC.
- Bluetooth: Version 6.0 versus 5.3.
- Driver size: 12 mm versus 7 mm. That’s a huge difference!
- Weight of one earbud: 6.8 g versus 5.5 g. The clip-ons are slightly heavier.
- Total battery life: Up to 36 hours versus up to 28 hours. A significant increase!

In Europe, the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Clip will cost 179.9 euros.
