Edifier has released the HECATE Dual Engine Pro wired gaming earphones. Each earpiece holds three drivers instead of the usual one: two 6 mm dynamic drivers and a separate balanced armature for the high frequencies. The earphones are priced at $28.
The manufacturer states the following specifications:
- A physical crossover splits the frequencies between the drivers, rather than signal processing
- The dynamic driver diaphragm is made of TPU with a titanium coating
- Hi-Res certification
- The controls are placed on an in-line remote
- Form factor — wired in-ear, gaming series
