On August 14, 2026, HECATE’s official Weibo account announced pre-orders are open for the HECATE Hunting Blade S (猎刃S). These are wired Hi-Fi headphones featuring a USB-C connector and an integrated sound card. Sales in China are set to kick off on August 21, with a recommended retail price of 219 yuan (about $32). This model is part of HECATE’s gaming lineup and is advertised with onboard DAC decoding, THX support for spatial audio (claiming a 7.1.4 configuration), and signal processing up to 32-bit/384 kHz.

Price and where to buy. HECATE’s official Weibo account announced the opening of pre-orders on August 14, and the product page is already live on the official Edifier website. The price is 219 yuan (about $32), with sales starting August 21, 2026. There are no affiliate links for this model yet; they’ll appear once the brand opens sales outside China or the model hits Ali/Amazon, and we’ll add them immediately.
What I’ll check in the review of the Edifier HECATE Hunting Blade S. I’ll be testing if the built-in DAC on the cable can compete with a standalone USB dongle, whether THX with its claimed 7.1.4 configuration works with a basic phone connection without special software, and how the 10mm driver stacks up against the more complex three-component system found in another HECATE model, the Dual Engine Pro.
