Hifiman has released a new wired model of the flagship Hifiman Susvara Unveiled open full-size headphones with isodynamic drivers.
New technologies applied in Hifiman Susvara Unveiled
The flagship full-size headphones feature a fully open design. The conductive layer of the diaphragm is made of silver, which has the best conductivity among metals. The special streamlined shape of the speaker magnets is designed to prevent parasitic turbulent air swirls during diaphragm movement. The arrangement of the magnets remains asymmetrical. Since the drivers are not protected by anything on the outside when listening to songs, this improves sound quality. But to keep metal objects and dust or shavings out, Magnetic Veil rear removable panels are used. In the manufacture of ear cushions, a new shape of pads is used for a better fit to the ears of users. Susvara Unveiled’s wires are made: the first wire is made of monocrystalline oxygen-free copper, the second wire is made of monocrystalline pure silver. The connectors have a choice of XLR and Jack 6.35mm low impedance. Cable length is 3m.
