Moondrop Block wireless TWS headphones – what’s interesting?
The TWS earphones are equipped with a large 13mm dynamic driver featuring “enhanced bass” and a bio-composite diaphragm. They support AAC/SBC codecs. Inside, there’s an N52 magnet and a CCAW voice coil, along with DSP integrated with an SOC chip for optimizing the frequency response. Moondrop utilized the B&K5128 measurement system to fine-tune the bass. Additionally, the pair is tuned using the VDSF target response curve, and according to Moondrop, it “provides an open sound with good detail and natural timbre.”
The earphones support Bluetooth 5.4 with a connection range of up to 10 meters. They feature two microphones with ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation), which reduces the noise level picked up by the microphone during calls. A gaming mode with low latency of around 55ms can be activated. The earphones also have touch controls for play/pause, switching between TWS mirroring modes (stereo/mono), and toggling the gaming mode.
The earbuds feature a flat design. They provide 6 hours of playback time, and with the charging case, up to 15 hours. The case has a 300mAh battery with a voltage of 3.7V, which takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge. The earbuds themselves have a 37mAh battery at 3.7V, and it takes around 1 hour to fully recharge them. The charging case uses a USB-C port. The earbuds are available in three color options.
