OnePlus Buds Pro 3 wireless headphones – what’s interesting?
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 wireless earphones are powered by two dynamic drivers: an 11mm subwoofer and a 6mm tweeter. Each driver has its own dedicated DAC, tuned for optimal sound performance. The earphones feature Bluetooth 5.4 (upgraded from Bluetooth 5.3) and support SBC, AAC, and LHDC 5.0 codecs (same as before). Data transfer speeds reach up to 1 Mbps, with a sampling rate of up to 96 kHz / 24-bit (available only with LHDC 5.0). As with the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, the sound tuning was done in collaboration with Dynaudio, a company renowned for its studio monitors.
So far, everything is very similar to what was in the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
The active noise cancellation in these earphones utilizes three microphones and a bone conduction sensor in each earbud. One microphone monitors internal ear noise, while the other two track ambient noise, and the bone conduction sensor captures the voice. Adaptive noise cancellation has been improved twofold compared to previous models. The ANC also includes a wind protection feature that enhances call quality, and external noise suppression can reach up to 50 dB.

- Battery life for the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 is up to 10 hours for the earbuds alone, 6 hours with noise cancellation, and 5 hours if using the LHDC codec. With the charging case, battery life extends up to 43 hours, 25 hours with noise cancellation, and 21.5 hours with LHDC. The fast charging feature allows up to 13 hours of music playback with just 10 minutes of charging. Wireless charging is also supported. In comparison, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 offered 9 hours of battery life, or 6 hours with noise cancellation, and up to 39 hours or 25 hours respectively with the charging case.
- The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 also feature AI for optimizing noise cancellation and enhancing voice call quality.
- A dedicated app is available for managing the earbuds, “Earbuds Function” for OnePlus devices and “HeyMelody” for others.
- The latency in gaming mode is up to 94 ms, the same as in the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.

- Integrated IMU sensors that track posture and provide recommendations for improvement.
The touch controls on the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 offer easy and intuitive operation. The earbuds are equipped with touch-sensitive panels that respond to taps and gestures, providing the following functions:
- Single tap: Play/pause music, answer/end a call.
- Double tap: Skip to the next track, reject a call.
- Triple tap: Go back to the previous track.
- Long press for 1 second: Turn noise cancellation on/off.
- Long press for 3 seconds: Activate Zen Mode Air.
- Swipe up: Increase volume.
- Swipe down: Decrease volume.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and their charging case are rated IP55, providing protection against water jets and dust damage.
The earbuds come with comfortable eartips in three different sizes.
Each earbud weighs 5.28 grams, while the charging case weighs 50.57 grams.
They are available in two colors: black (Midnight Opus) and white (Lunar Radiance). The previous Pro 2 version also included a green color option.
