KZ AS24 Pro wired headphones – what’s interesting?
KZ has unveiled their new in-ear monitors, the KZ AS24 Pro. This model features 24 proprietary balanced armature drivers, each finely tuned by KZ specialists to deliver precise and detailed Hi-Fi sound. According to KZ, off-the-shelf balanced armature drivers from other manufacturers (we can guess which ones they’re referring to) aren’t suitable for creating high-quality sound in earphones.
The KZ AS24 Pro is available in two versions: the standard model and one with adjustable sound settings. A key feature of the KZ AS24 Pro is its 4-position electronic switch that allows users to customize the sound profile. This functionality lets the earphones adapt to different music genres and personal preferences. There’s also a version without switches that doesn’t require any sound adjustments. Additionally, the earphones come with interchangeable filters that can be screwed onto the sound tube, allowing for more precise sound customization.
The company claims that the KZ AS24 Pro, priced at $116, can successfully compete with more expensive, well-known models.
The earphone housing is made using DLP 3D printing, which allows for high precision in acoustic design, achieving an accuracy of up to 0.01 mm. This technology enables the creation of more precise acoustic structures within the earphones, optimizing sound transmission and dispersion for cleaner and more balanced audio quality.
The silver-plated cable provides excellent conductivity, reducing audio signal loss and enhancing sound quality. It also has anti-oxidation properties to extend its lifespan. The cable features connectors with gold-plated contacts, and the earphones themselves have gold-plated sockets. Additionally, there is an option for a cable with a button and microphone, allowing the earphones to be used as a headset.
The set comes with three pairs of standard KZ silicone ear cushions in sizes S, M, L.
