Innovation and technical solutions in the Campfire Audio Astrolith

The Campfire Audio Astrolith is equipped with two new planar magnetic drivers. The lightweight, translucent acrylic housing with a mirrored steel faceplate gives the headphones a stylish appearance and high performance.

Campfire Audio Astrolith

Campfire Audio chose planar drivers for this top-tier model due to their high movement speed, which ensures sharp detail and realistic sound. The Astrolith features a 14 mm planar magnetic main driver for low and mid frequencies, as well as a 6 mm planar high-frequency tweeter.

The 6 mm planar tweeter is paired with a new Particle Phase Resonator (PPR) tuning chamber. This resonator, specifically designed for this driver, enhances its performance. The 14 mm planar driver incorporates an improved mechanical design and a new grille design. The Additive Acoustic Optical Inclusion (AAOI) chamber refines the sound of the low and mid frequencies.

Campfire Audio’s planar drivers exhibit very low levels of harmonic distortion. Both drivers are tuned to ensure a smooth frequency response without overlapping each other’s range.

The new AAOI housing combines unique design with improved acoustic characteristics. Integrated acoustic forms provide precise sound control. The translucent housing creates a gemstone effect, adding a touch of style to the earphones.
