Fiio has introduced the new FiiO FT1 full-size headphones. These wired closed-back headphones are equipped with dynamic drivers.
What technical solutions are used in Fiio FT1 full-size headphones
The FiiO FT1 full-size headphones feature a closed-back design and second-generation 60mm dynamic drivers. The cups are crafted from dense American black walnut, which helps reduce resonance and minimize standing waves. The diaphragm of the dynamic driver is made from 90-year-old Northern European spruce fibers and reinforced with carbon fiber, providing a natural sound and enhancing low-frequency response. The diaphragm suspension is W-shaped. The enlarged sound coil, made from ultra-thin aluminum wire with a copper coating, improves transient response and reduces distortion. U-shaped sound-absorbing labyrinth channels enhance passive noise isolation. A specially designed grille covering the driver reduces high-frequency attenuation and focuses sound towards the center of the ear.
