Focal has introduced the Focal Lensys Professional headphones, designed for sound engineers, musicians and producers. This model combines high sound quality and comfort, offering accurate, linear sound transmission in any workspace, whether in the studio or working on the go.
The wired headphones feature 40mm electrodynamic drivers with an “M” shaped dome made of aluminum and magnesium. Aluminum provides stiffness and reduces distortion, while magnesium improves damping. The frequency range of the headphones is from 5 Hz to 22 kHz, the impedance is 26 ohms and the sensitivity level is 100 dB. Two cables are included: a 1.2m straight cable and a 3m twisted cable.
Lensys Professional are designed for professionals who need precise, closed headphones for extended work sessions. They are suitable for use in 3D audio systems (e.g. Dolby Atmos) and provide up to 23dB isolation from external noise.
The headphones weigh just 306g and feature ergonomic memory ear cushions and a fabric headband for maximum comfort. It comes with a sturdy carrying case for transportation.
