Chinese company Kinera Celest, inspired by the mythical creature “Wyvern Qing” from Chinese mythology, has released new inexpensive wired headphones Celest Wyvern Qing. The IEMs feature a single dynamic driver.
What’s interesting about the Celest Wyvern Qing headphones?
The headphones feature a 10mm dynamic driver with an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) diaphragm. The sound tuning is based on the Harman Target Response Curve from 2019, which was developed through extensive research and listener surveys to determine the most natural and pleasing sound. The housings of the headphones are made using high-precision DLP 3D printing from transparent photopolymer resin.
Wyvern Qing comes with a detachable cable featuring 0.78mm 2-pin connectors. There are two versions available: one with a microphone and one without, turning these headphones into a headset if needed.
The cable with microphone is a 4-core OFC cable with a black PVC jacket. The cable without microphone is a silver-plated OFC cable with a clear PVC jacket. The kit comes with a choice of one cable with or without microphone.
