Lava prepared the Probuds Xplore 25° — wireless earbuds with a screen on the charging case, which is controlled by two physical buttons instead of a touch panel. I already tested a similar idea in iKKO ActiveBuds: the experiment was bold, but the charging case turned out bulky, the controls were questionable, and the earbuds themselves lost to competitors at the same price in terms of sound. Therefore, I don’t expect anything special from Lava — it’s more interesting to check if the screen became another toy at the expense of the earbuds.

The official manual confirms the following:
- The screen shows the time and charge of the case and each earbud;
- You can control music, volume, and calls, launch the flashlight and stopwatch from the case;
- The screen is not touch-sensitive — the menu is controlled by two physical buttons on the side;
- Four taps on the left earbud call Siri or the voice assistant, on the right — Game Mode;
- In the Bluetooth list, the model is identified as Probuds T25.
The price is not announced in the official manual.
Do you think a screen on the charging case is a useful feature or just a toy? Write in the comments — if Lava makes it to our test, we’ll check the screen and our test will show where the model ranks among the best wireless earbuds.
