New Beyerdynamic Aventho Y — Bluetooth 6.0 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones

The Beyerdynamic company introduced the Aventho Y — wireless over-ear headphones with over 90 hours of battery life without noise cancellation. The headphones connect via Bluetooth 6.0 and support multipoint.

The Beyerdynamic Aventho Y’s main selling point. The company’s own words, “Feel what you hear,” aren’t a specific feature name. Beyerdynamic actually has two product lines: “Hear your why” and “Feel what you hear,” alongside the slogan ICONIC DESIGN REIMAGINED. They describe the design changes as: the same round earcups, four color options, and an aluminum headband.

Sound. These headphones feature 45mm dynamic drivers and support SBC and AAC codecs, with no others listed by the brand. The product page doesn’t specify the diaphragm material.

Build and Features. They weigh 316g. For calls, there are two microphones with ENC noise cancellation. The design is foldable, and the magnetic earcups can be swapped out as easily as the battery. In October, Beyerdynamic plans to release a separate accessory, the Upgrade Package, which includes a USB-C dongle and a boom microphone.

Battery life. Both ANC and transparency mode are available. Without noise cancellation, the brand claims over 90 hours of playback, and with it on, you get over 60 hours. The 650 mAh battery takes 1 hour to charge, and this model doesn’t have wireless charging. Fast charging offers up to 6 hours of music from just a 5-minute charge. The battery is replaceable; it’s located in the left earcup under the magnetic earpad, in its own compartment.

Controls and App. You can update the firmware using the beyerdynamic app. The headphones are compatible with iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.

Price and Where to Buy. In Germany, the Aventho Y is priced at $175 (149 euros), and sales begin September 3, 2026. You can pick up a pair on Amazon and directly from the official beyerdynamic website.
