Beyerdynamic has unveiled two new wireless gaming headsets: the closed-back MMX 100 wireless, priced at €99 and set to release on September 1, and the open-back MMX 130 wireless for €129, which will arrive in October. You’ll be able to see the MMX 100 at gamescom 2026.
What both have in common:
- Bluetooth 6.0 (A2DP, HFP), low-latency USB-C dongle, analog cable, and USB audio.
- You get over 80 hours of battery life, and it charges while you play.
- Colors: black and Arctic White.
- Both models include a detachable META VOICE microphone with a pop filter.

What the brand isn’t saying: There are no specific conditions for the “over 80 hours” claim, and the MMX 100 spec sheet actually says “up to 80.” Only the MMX 100 is promised to have a user-replaceable battery, according to its support documentation.
Xbox and isolation: For the MMX 100, Xbox compatibility is listed for the wired connection, not Bluetooth, and the brand hasn’t said anything about a dongle. There’s no spec table for the MMX 130.
Price: Both headsets are €99 and €129, tax included, though there’s no firm release date for the MMX 130 yet. You’ll be able to buy them through the brand’s store, Amazon, and other retailers, with spare parts available separately. Pre-orders for the MMX 100 are already live. At current exchange rates, that’s about $116 and $151.
