The body of the Fossibot F112 Pro is made of hypoallergenic liquid silicone. It’s available in 5 colors: blue, orange, black, burgundy, and green. The phone is certified to the MIL-STD-810H standard, the U.S. military standard for durability testing, covering factors like temperature, humidity, shock, vibration, dust, and altitude. A phone meeting the MIL-STD-810H standard can be used in the harshest environments, enduring excessive humidity and dust, and high or low temperatures. Therefore, the Fossibot F112 Pro is perfect for active users and extreme sports enthusiasts, including activities like whitewater kayaking, base jumping, motocross, and cave exploration. It’s also perfectly suitable for regular cycling or scooter riding.

Fossibot F112 PRO 5G - Main features

The Fossibot F112 Pro is powerful enough for all your everyday tasks: video, music, internet, social networks, games, etc. It is powered by the energy-efficient MediaTek Dimensity 6300 mobile platform. The processor includes 8 cores: 2 high-performance Cortex-A76 cores at 2400 MHz and 6 efficiency Cortex-A55 cores at 2000 MHz. The Mali-G57 MP2 GPU handles video encoding up to 2K resolution (2048×1080 pixels) and is capable of running any modern games at medium graphics settings. With 8 GB of RAM, it’s sufficient for any resource-intensive games and applications. Expandable by up to an additional 16 GB using virtual memory, for a total of up to 24 GB of RAM. It comes with 256 GB of internal storage, and there is a slot for a MicroSD card up to 1 TB. OTG support allows connecting USB flash drives.

The built-in 7150 mAh battery

The built-in 7150 mAh battery provides the battery life. The manufacturer promises 6.5 hours of continuous gaming, 11 hours of video watching, or 27 hours of phone calls. Taking into account the energy-efficient MediaTek Dimensity 6300, the numbers are average. It supports a modest 18W fast charging and reverse charging via OTG cable, so you can charge other devices like headphones, smart watches, phones, etc. For a 7150 mAh battery, I’d like to see 30-45W fast charging.

For photo and video shooting, the phone has 3 cameras. It has a 50MP main camera and a 5MP macro camera for close-up shots. For video calls and selfies, it has a 16MP front camera. In the camera settings, you can choose from various scene or shooting modes like HDR, bokeh, and panorama. There are manual settings with adjustable shooting parameters: ISO, shutter speed, focus, etc. You can shoot photos and videos underwater. In addition, face unlock is available using the front camera, similar to iPhones.

The phone features a large 6.88-inch IPS display. It has a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz, which reduces blur when scrolling. For comparison, budget models more often have screens with a 90 Hz refresh rate. With a screen resolution of 720×1640 pixels and a brightness of 480 nits, which is not enough for comfortable viewing on a bright sunny day.

For connectivity, it features a hybrid card slot, allowing for either 1 SIM card and a MicroSD card or 2 SIM cards. It supports all network generations, including 5G, and includes the necessary bands for 4G LTE networks: Band 1/3/7/8/20, etc. Navigation supports all common satellite systems: GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Beidou/Galileo/QZSS. It has built-in dual-band Wi-Fi that works on 2.4 and 5 GHz. It features Bluetooth 5.4 and has an NFC module for contactless payments. It runs on Android 14 with a clean interface.
