Juzear’s new Nimbus wired in-ear earbuds are here for $50. For that price, you get a zinc alloy body, three sets of interchangeable sound tubes, and a choice of two cable versions. Inside, a 10mm dynamic driver features a multi-layer amorphous carbon composite diaphragm, which Juzear calls MACCD.

Don’t confuse the two versions. The first comes with 3.5mm and 4.4mm connectors and no microphone. The second version includes a microphone on the cable and a portable Type-C DAC with a CX31993 chip, capable of 32-bit/384kHz. Both versions use the same detachable 0.78mm 2-pin connector on the earbuds themselves.
Price and where to buy. Juzear’s own product page lists the price as “around $50” without specifying exact costs for each version. However, they are already available at the HiFiGo store, where you can see the current pricing.
What’s missing from the product page. Juzear doesn’t list the frequency range, cable length, microphone specs, or the sales start date on its page. The stated sensitivity of 108dB is provided without indicating if it’s measured per milliwatt or per volt. The distortion figure is listed as “below 0.8%” without specifying the frequency or measurement method, so this is the brand’s claim rather than a measured THD.
What we’ll check in the Juzear Nimbus review. We’ll see if the difference between the white, red, and black sound tubes is actually audible or just within the margin of error. We’ll also test if the Type-C DAC in the second version provides enough volume with a 32 Ohm load. I’ve previously reviewed other Juzear models, including the Defiant.
