Shanling has introduced 2 Headphone Models first full-size planar wired headphones Shanling HW600 and in-canal wired hybrid headphones Shanling EA10. I’ll talk about the full-size model first:
Shanling HW600
Shanling has announced the release of its first full-size planar planar open design headphones, the HW600.
The HW600s feature a 110 x 86 mm planar driver made of ultra-thin polymer materials with a thickness of 8 microns. The driver’s magnetic system is made using 14 neodymium magnets with magnetic induction up to 1.8 Tesla. Specialized single-block bowl design and dual acoustic chambers minimize distortion, improving sound quality. The headphones have an amlitude-frequency range of 12 Hz to 40 kHz, with a sensitivity of – 104 dB at 30 Ohm impedance, making them compatible with a variety of audio devices. The headphone housing is made of 7xxx series aircraft aluminum. The ear cushions are made of soft sheepskin leather and and asymmetrical design. The ergonomic headband is reinforced with stainless steel for added durability. The headphones weigh 480 g.
The 1.5 meter cable is made of monocrystalline copper and features a 4.4 mm balanced jack, as well as two 3.5 mm headphone jacks, allowing the use of third-party cables. The headphones have been certified “Hi-Res Audio”.
Shanling AE10
Shanling announced the release of its new AE10 in-ear headphones. The headphone housing is made by vacuum-formed resin technology and covered with carbon fiber. The unique design with glitter powder creates the effect of twinkling stars in the night sky.
The AE10s feature nine armature drivers and one dynamic driver that provide a wide frequency range from 12Hz to 40kHz and a sensitivity of 113dB: 1 dynamic 10 mm driver – for the woofer range, 4 low-frequency armature drivers, 3 custom Shanling armature drivers – responsible for the midrange, 2 high-frequency armature drivers Knowles. An important feature of the headphones is a six-way crossover, which minimizes the interference of sound waves and combines all drivers organizing a continuous AFC headphones. The headphones have an impedance of 12 ohms and a sensitivity of 113 ± 3 dB The headphones also offer users two electronic switches to choose between four sound modes to customize for different musical preferences.
The headphones come with a replaceable cable made of 8-core monocrystalline copper, consisting of 18 conductors. It uses a coaxial structure and is coated with an antibacterial nano-coating. The connectors used on the Shanling AE10 cable are 2Pin 0.78mm for connecting to headphones and Jack 4.4mm for connecting to an audio source.
