Shanling has released the Shanling UA6 portable DAC/AMP, designed for quality audio enthusiasts. It features four CS43131 DAC chips, supports audio up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512, and has two headphone outputs: 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced.
The nonlinear distortion (THD+N) is 0.00025% on the single-ended output and 0.0006% on the balanced output. The dynamic range reaches 133dB (high gain), ensuring minimal distortion and high sound quality. Support for 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs makes the UA6 versatile for different types of headphones. Five digital filters allow you to customize the sound to your preferences.
UA6 is compact (68×33.5×13.6 mm) and weighs 35 grams. The device supports two gain modes – low and high. On high gain, the output power through 3.5 mm reaches 112 mW, through 4.4 mm – 361 mW at 32 Ohm load. This allows the unit to be used with both high-sensitivity and low-sensitivity headphones.The UA6 features a built-in 220mAh battery and a hybrid power system. The system also minimizes background noise, providing clear sound when used with sensitive IEM headphones.
