TempoTec has released the new V3-D digital transport, designed for audiophiles looking for a mobile solution to connect to external DACs and audio systems. Unlike the classic V3 audio player, the V3-D focuses on digital audio output.
Key features:
Audio output: The device supports Mini AES, optical and coaxial digital outputs. The coaxial output supports sampling rates up to 192kHz for high quality audio transmission.
Wireless capabilities: Bluetooth 5.1 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi allow you to use the device with wireless headphones and connect to streaming services such as Tidal and Qobuz. LDAC, aptX, AAC and SBC codecs are supported for high-quality wireless audio.
Format support: V3-D supports DSD up to DSD256 and PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz, as well as a wide range of audio formats such as MP3, FLAC, WAV, APE and more.
Storage: A MicroSD card slot supports up to 2TB of storage, allowing you to carry large music collections with you.
Battery: A 3200mAh battery provides up to 12 hours of battery life and up to 450 hours of standby time.
Controls: The V3-D features a color display and supports remote control via the HiBy Link app.
The TempoTec V3-D is priced at $299. That makes it $100 more expensive than the standard V3, but it offers extensive digital audio output and connectivity to professional audio systems.
