TRI has had success with the i3 series of earphones. After a long absence from the market, TRI has decided to try and renew its success by launching the new TRI i3 MK3 earphones.The earphones feature Planar+DDD+BA circuitry:
- Planar – a 3rd generation 10mm planar driver;
- DD – 10mm beryllium dynamic driver;
- BA – SONION’s Knowles 2356 armature driver.

The earphone housings are CNC-machined and colored purple.Compared to the previous i3 series earphones, the i3 MK3 wired in-ear earphones have:
15 pairs of earcups come with the headphones, including the legendary TRI Clarion. And a 612-core silver-plated 5N OCC coaxial cable with a 4.4mm balanced connector.
