Leak about Nothing Headphone (1) Pro ($399) — Wireless Over-Ear Headphones with 3 Drivers

According to IT Home, citing Dealabs, Nothing is reportedly working on the Headphone (1) Pro. These would be wireless over-ear headphones featuring three drivers, with each driver handling a different frequency range. This information hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. The leak also suggests a September 29 launch date, a $399 price tag (349 euros), Bluetooth 6.1, and up to 60 hours of battery life.

Friends, by tradition, if a news post gets 100 likes, I get the model in hand and make a review for you. And of course subscribe to the review — I will email you the moment it goes live on MyChooz.

Nothing Headphone (1) Pro — MyChooz concept based on its predecessor
MyChooz concept: what the Headphone (1) Pro might look like. The render is based on an official shot of the predecessor, Headphone (1): the body and headband repeat its shape, Nothing has not yet shown any official shots of the Pro version.

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro’s sound is its headline feature. Instead of a single driver for the entire audio spectrum, it’s said to have three, each dedicated to its own frequency band. The leak claims an XMEMS driver handles the highs, though Dealabs doesn’t elaborate on its specific function. It also mentions Hi-Res Audio support, the LDAC codec, a Flat EQ mode, and sound tuning done at London’s Metropolis Studios. Keep in mind, the Hi-Res certification itself doesn’t guarantee how the headphones will actually sound.

Noise cancellation and microphones. Dealabs reports that the headphones will include 10 microphones and adaptive noise cancellation that adjusts to your surroundings. A transparency mode is also mentioned.

Connectivity and battery life. The headphones are expected to feature Bluetooth 6.1, and a 3.5mm jack will be included, allowing for wired connections. The leak points to up to 60 hours of battery life and fast charging, but Dealabs doesn’t provide specific charging times.

Build and colors. This model is shown in both black and white. The design maintains Nothing’s signature semi-transparent aesthetic, with an aluminum body and scratch-resistant glass. It’s also rated IP52 for dust and splash protection.

Price and availability. The leak indicates the Headphone (1) Pro will launch on September 29 for $399.00 (349 euros). Details about what’s included in the box haven’t been disclosed, and the model isn’t yet available in international stores.

Friends, let me know in the comments what you think about this new model and what you’d like me to cover in a review — I’ll do my best to answer your questions.

What I’m looking forward to testing in the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro review. Having three drivers in wireless over-ear headphones is an unusual setup, and my main question is: can you actually hear the difference? I’m especially curious about the XMEMS driver for the highs, but for now, this is just a leak. I also want to see how its sound stacks up against the Noble Audio FoKus Apollo, which currently holds the top spot in our over-ear headphone rankings. We’ll find out all this when the headphones arrive at our office for testing.
