Nothing is expanding its over-ear headphone lineup. Following the $299 Headphone (1), a more budget-friendly version called Headphone (a) is coming with noise cancellation. This is a wireless model with Bluetooth, set to be unveiled on March 5th at the Built Different event in London. Leaks suggest a price around $150, which is half that of the older model.
- Budget version following the Headphone (1) ($299) — expected price around $150.
- ANC (according to leaks)
- They promise the longest battery life of any Nothing audio product.
- Several bright color options are expected — yellow has been confirmed by a teaser.
- Unveiling March 5, 2026, in London (alongside the Phone (4a)).

What’s known. Nothing has only shown a teaser so far — a close-up of a yellow cup with its signature dot texture. Details about the construction, materials, headband, and the full design haven’t been revealed yet. The yellow color is clearly an accent for the (a) line, just like with the Phone (2a) series.

Battery life. Nothing claims it will have “the longest battery life among all our audio products.” For context, the Headphone (1) lasts up to 80 hours, and the CMF Headphone Pro lasts up to 100 hours. Specific numbers for the Headphone (a) haven’t been released yet.
Price and positioning. Leaks point to a price around €159 (about $150). This puts it in the same category as the JBL Tune 770NC and Sony WH-CH720N, and it’s half the $299 price of the Headphone (1). Nothing is targeting consumers who want its signature design without paying a premium for the flagship. Will this model earn a spot in the wireless headphones ranking? We’ll find out after testing.
