🎧 Sound Quality
Lewitt Connect 6 is a new take on what an audio interface should be in the 21st century. This sound card features excellent preamps. With low intrinsic noise (-133dB.) and 72dB of gain. Any dynamic microphone, such as the Shure SM7b, this audio interface will be able to warm up 😉 . The Lewitt Connect 6 supports 24-bit and 96kHz recording.
Monitor outputs are excellent, the card sounds intelligible. Nonlinear distortion level is 0.002%, which is a good result for 300$.
Lewitt Connect 6 gives you a wide range of connection options. In addition to the standard PC connection, you can also connect your smartphone to it. The problem with conventional sound cards was that they did not allow you to quickly set up the sound for broadcasting to social networks. You had to install additional software. This was difficult for inexperienced users to understand. With Lewitt Connect 6, everything is simpler.
CONNECT 6 allows you to fully integrate your mobile device into your audio system.
Transfer lossless digital audio between your computer and mobile device via USB-C
Stream audio directly to your favorite apps like Instagram or TikTok
Easily record audio from your phone for modern studio workflows.
Charges your phone when you use it to stream or create content
Apple MFI certification for iPhone/iPad and Android phones/tablets
Headphones can be monitored via two independent 3.5mm and 6.3mm Jack connectors. Independent means that each headphone can be configured separately (volume, sound broadcast to the headphones). The outputs are powerful, they rocked Audio-Tecnika M50X and Beyerdynamic 990 Pro without problems. The sound is clear, detailed, distortion is at the level of 0.002%.
Sound recording test on Lewitt Connect 6
In the test I recorded voice and acoustic guitar in different card modes. The microphone used for recording was Lewitt 440 Pure.

As you can hear from the examples, the sound is clear, there is no noise or distortion. I was satisfied with the sound of this card. I was especially impressed by the microphone gain auto-tuning and DSP effects auto-tuning. For inexperienced users it is a convenient option to make the optimal sound adjustment.

🎛️ Controls and functions
The card is controlled by a single encoder or in the audio driver itself. The encoder is large, easy to adjust, smooth, and a nice click follows when pressed.
Pressing the encoder switches between card functions. With the encoder we can adjust:
Volume 1 and 2 input.
Pressing the encoder turns phantom power on/off.
Volume 1 and 2 of the headphone output.
Monitor output volume.
The back panel of the card accommodates:
2 XLRJack 6.3 combo inputs
2 balanced outputs to monitors (speaker system)
3.5 mm. Jack for connecting a speaker system (portable speaker)
USB-C Mobile for connecting a smartphone or tablet (IOS, Android)
Aux 3.5mm. Jack for connecting an external sound source (synthesizer)
USB-C Power for connecting auxiliary power
USB-C Computer to connect the sound card to a computer (Mac, Windows)
The encoder controls only part of the functionality. All the good stuff is hidden in the audio driver 😀 .
Lewitt Connect 6 audio driver
The driver interface is clear, all nodes are separated. You can clearly see each input and output. Let me tell you about each node in detail.
Input section
The first section is responsible for the combo inputs of the sound card. There are 2 of them.
With the slider we can adjust the gain of the microphone.
Below that is the button to turn on phantom power.
Low Cut filter (low cut filter).
Phase reversal.
Phase reversal can be used in a two-channel recording environment. If you have two microphones installed and you are recording a single source, there is a chance that the signals will be out of phase (in other words, the sound will be worse).
The Mute button turns off the microphone.
The DSP effects are located below:
Expander – increases the volume of the sound beyond the trigger threshold (Treshhold). Ratio – the degree of compression. Attack – speed of triggering. Release – Expander’s release time. Maximum Redaction – volume compensation.
Compressor – compresses the signal, making the difference between quiet and loud sounds smaller. The knobs are the same as in the Expander.
Equalizer is a 4-band equalizer with selectable band operation (Low Cut, Low Shelf, Peak, Notch, High Shelf, High Cut). You can change the quality factor (Q) of the equalizer bands.
You can save a preset setting for each of the DSP effects.
At the very bottom are the direct monitoring faders, for each input.
The next section is responsible for the Aux input and Mobil USB-C input connections.
The output gain controls (Maximizer) are located below. Use them to increase the output volume.
Exit section
Digital outputs are responsible for the sound we hear on headphones or monitors. We have available: 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6 outputs. For the 1/2 output all inputs and outputs are mapped. For the other two pairs we can assign outputs from (DAW, video games and other sources).
The physical outputs section is responsible for those outputs that are available on our sound card. These are headphone and monitor outputs. The last slider will be displayed if you connect your smartphone to the sound card.
The first fader responsible for LoopBack is a function that links inputs and outputs, they can be routed to OBS for example to broadcast sound without delay.
You can assign a different input signal to each output and use the Mute button to turn it off.
In the upper right corner there is a button (gear), which opens additional settings of the card. Where you can control dimming of the card diodes (make the bulbs less bright), check Update and firmware, select buffer size.
AutoSetup is a function that will automatically adjust the gain, signal correction using the built-in DSP effects. This is a great option if you are not an experienced user and don’t understand how best to adjust the microphone or line input. The AutoSetup button is located above the microphone gain control.
The sound card will offer us two auto-tuning options. With DSP and without DSP effects. This feature gives us the opportunity to quickly and efficiently adjust our signals, especially important if we are in the field. For example, when recording a podcast outside the studio, but on the street.
The AutoSetup function works great, I like how the card can make adjustments to the signal on its own. We press just two buttons, speak into the microphone while it is being set up and after a few seconds, our signal is set up.
I was pleased with the Lewitt Connect 6’s control and extensive functionality. This card allows you to broadcast on social networks, record podcasts, stream to musicians in your DAW and record vocals or instruments with high quality. Lewitt have produced a sound card that will suit bloggers and streamers, musicians or producers alike. I really liked the fact that there are no buttons on the sound card, a lot of controls. Just one encoder – and you don’t need more 😉 .

Software and Plugins:
Lewitt Connect 6 comes with a Cubase LE DAW activation voucher for your computer and a mobile version of Cubasis LE (IOS, Android). These programs help you get started out of the box. Recording, mixing music. Recording podcasts and live performances. Stream to Tic Toc or Instagram. All this is possible with Lewitt Connect 6 and Cubase.
Lewitt I want to say thank you so much for giving us a voucher to download the Cubase and Cabasis DAWs. This is the most important thing for musicians and people who will be involved in recording.
📢 Appearance and build quality
The appearance of the Lewitt Connect 6 is cosmic 😉 . The card stands out with its design among its competitors (Arturia MiniFuse 2, Audient ID4 MK II and UAD Volt 2 among others). The color scheme is black. The green logo and card name on the front panel looks great. The front panel of the card is made of glossy plexiglass. It leaves fingerprints on it. But it looks awesome.
The front panel has LEDs:
Input 1
Input 2
Headphones 1 and 2
Monitor output volume
48 V phantom power
Signal volume indicator
Build is top notch. The card does not crunch in your hands. The plastic is of high quality. The encoder rotates without extraneous sounds, easily. There are 6 rubber feet on the bottom of the card. The card lies flat on the table and does not ride on it.
The Lewitt Connect 6 is made entirely of plastic, but I can’t call it fragile. All the connectors are installed smoothly, they do not fall out or play.
The design of this card impressed me. Lewitt Connect 6 is a Lamborghini among audio interfaces 😎 . The sound card feels for its 300$. The quality of materials, the build itself – everything is excellent!
🗿 Competitors
Among the competitors under $300 I can highlight:
Arturia MiniFuse 2
Audient ID4 MKII
UAD Volt 2
Presonus 26c
SSL 2+
Focusrite 4i4 Gen 3
We had the Arturia MiniFuse 2, Audient ID4 MK II and UAD Volt 2. I won’t make specific comparisons by the numbers.
The Lewitt Connect 6 has more features and applications than the sound cards listed above.
Flexible routing in the audio driver.
DSP effects.
Ability to connect a smartphone and broadcast sound from the sound card to it.
Low Cut filter and phase flip.
2 independent headphone jacks.
Low preamp noise (-133 dB) and 72 dB gain
Each sound card and manufacturer has its own characteristics. It is worth choosing an audio interface based solely on your needs. The Lewitt Connect 6 offers a wide range of possibilities. From recording vocals or instruments to broadcasting on Twitch, Instagram and Tic Toc.
🏆 Bottom line – pros and cons
Lewitt Connect 6 is a sound card that is suitable for musicians, producers, streamers, bloggers. It’s a portable sound card that can stand in your studio and travel with you to shoot podcasts or live shows. Excellent build and stylish design. Wide range of features and quality sound recording. It’s all Lewitt Connect 6. A sound card that fully justifies the $300 price tag.
After testing the card and writing this review, I had the urge to switch from my UAD Volt 2 and Audient ID4 MkII to the Lewitt Connect 6 😎 .
